QSL: JO-- NHK-2 Nagano Relay, Matsumoto 1512

Every now and then, a frequency dominant fades and gives room for less common stations. Like late October when the usual JOZB NHK-2 Matsuyama gave way to the 1-kW relay of NHK-2 Nagano in Matsumoto. A custom-made QSL, obviously printed on an inkjet printer, was received today.

Love those Japanese QSL cards. My count is close to yours. You might try for the Lighthouse stations on 1669 Khz. I logged and QSL'd several back before the X Band filled up. They run 60 watts, but they do get out well.

Patrick: Yes, the Lighthouse stations are quite common. I haven't reported them though.

How did you identify the weaker signal of the same programme fading in to be another tx as NHK does not seem to have regional outputs at this certain time?

If I had heard NHK 2 before, it would not have come into my mind that these are actually two tx (except hearing an echo because of not being in sync signals)...

How did you identify that those were actually two different tx of the same station?
